Ideally wait till the next day to avoid any heat and moisture on the skin. If you do wish to have a shower when you get home please ensure it is a quick cool shower avoid friction and keep skin cool.

Soothing products, such as aloe vera, and Witchhazel are perfect to apply to the skin straight after waxing ,avoid heavy layers of creams and oily products, as they won’t allow the skin to breathe and can cause more irritation.

This often help to reduce the histamine reaction. Combine this with suitable cleansing Skin wash product .

Especially if it’s your first time getting waxed. This also applies to swimming and jacuzzi’s.

Why do I need to exfoliate?

Suitable products should be used for exfoliation. This should be carried out 2 to 3 times a week. This should be done gently to begin with as your skin  could be sensitive, regular exfoliation will keep your skin soft and enable the new hairs  to come through normally and will reduce the risk of ingrown hairs .
