Always ensure it’s the correct length if you’ve been shaving or trimming her very short, then you must ensure it’s long enough to wax. Ideally, you want the hair around  1/4 inch the length of a grain of rice. If the Hair is really long, then you may want to trim at home with clippers/trimmers to a grade 4, if this is not possible or would prefer it done at the studio this is not a problem.

Exfoliation of the skin a few days before treatment will reduce the risk of ingrown hairs. It will remove any dead skin and will make for a better waxing treatment.

If  you’re coming straight from work, please bring Clean clothing to change into after your waxing treatment. For intimate waxing, please bring clean loose fitting underwear  This will be more comfortable after waxing treatment and will prevent Rubbing.

Don’t have your waxing treatment carried out if you’ve just been exposed to the Sun or sunbed. This will increase the sensitivity of the skin leave at least 48 hours after sun exposure to carrying out your waxing treatment .

Planning your route in advance  will prevent Rushing and increasing  body  temperature. This will result in sweating which can make treatment a lot more uncomfortable cool  skin is much easier to wax.

If it’s your first time, carrying out a waxing service avoid having your appointment just before a photo shoot or holiday etc ,Your skin my react with redness of slight irritation leave plenty of time to make sure any invitation has cleared.

Lastly, but most importantly, if you have a low pain threshold, you may want to consider, taking some pain relief to help with the discomfort, such as over-the-counter anti-inflammatory such  as ibuprofen, antihistamine, or anti-allergy is sometimes really good for helping your skin to settle much quicker after your waxing treatment, especially if it’s your first experience or have sensitive skin.
